The Oil And Filter Change

One of the most frequent and most important maintenance services to perform on your vehicle is the oil change. Today's vehicles are designed with more fuel efficient engines with tighter engine tolerances and higher engine operating temperatures. Many people don't realize that oil is an important part of the cooling system, dispersing approximately 20% of engine heat. It is crucial that the only engine oil used be of the highest standard and changed frequently along with using only a genuine Mopar oil filter. Overtime, the oil will lose some of its viscosity (ability to flow) and will pick up enough dirt and water in suspension that it needs to be replaced. Water vapour, unburnt fuel, gases from the engine combustion process all end up in your oil.

If you rarely travel more than 20kms after each cold start, your oil will soon become saturated with contaminents and lose its protective abilities. In winter, the detrimental effects of short trips on engine oils are most severe. It's only after 20kms that the engine and oil will get hot enough to vaporize these contaminants. You should change your oil and filter every 5000kms or every 6 months if you drive less. Currently, the API's latest passenger car gasoline engine oil service category is "SL. 5W-30 oil with a GF-3 standard is recommended for use in Chrysler vehicles. Current diesel engine oil category is "CH4".

Automatic Transmission Complete Fluid Flush

Remove harmful contaminant's and help prolong transmission life. Nearly nine out of ten transmission failures are due to overheating and fluid contamination. Just like oil in your car's engine, trans-mission fluid (ATF) suffers from heat, friction and contamination degredation. Once this process starts, your transmission's vital parts begin to clog with sludge.

Now there is an option. Ensign has a process that safely removes varnish and sludge deposits and cleans all internal transmission components including the transmission cooler and torque convertor. This service is also the best way to remove wear metals that are slowly grinding away on your transmission's internal components along with most of the old, contaminated ATF. Your car's transmission is thoroughly cleaned and protected with fresh ATF and conditioners that revitalize the seals and O-rings in the transmission.

Lube, Oil & Filter

Includes up to 5 litres of Mopar Oil, a Mopar Oil Filter, Lube (where applicable), a top-up of brake, power steering and windshield washer fluids, and a 15 point visual inspection.

Peace-of-Mind Driving Inspection

Includes rotation of four tires, inspection of cooling system, all fluid levels, electrical system, front and rear brake system, exhaust system, suspension system, a road test and report results.

Complete Tranmission Fluid Flush

Conventional transmission service drains only a small portion of the old fluid.  The large amount of old fluid remaining in the transmission can cause deposits to form on transmission components.  This causes erratic shifting, malfunction, or even transmission failure.

Using our highly effective transmission power flush and fluid exchange system, our technician will:
. Install and circulate cleaning chemistry.
. Pressure purge all used fluid and contaminants.
. Install fresh fluid and conditioners.

. Smoothes shifting!
. Extends fluid life!
. Conditions seals!
. Prevents leaks and expensive repairs!
